Pick a direction, get a live quote, send one deposit. 8Trade bridges ETH, the Global Dollar and tokenized assets between Robinhood Chain and more than eighty other networks, and quotes any other pair on the list while it is at it. No account, no wallet connection, no custody of your keys.

Your payout address

Floating rate. The final payout is set when your deposit confirms, so it can differ from the estimate above. Bridges take time: most finish in 10 to 60 minutes, mostly spent waiting for confirmations on the source chain. 8Trade never takes custody of your funds and never asks for a signature.

How it works

Four steps, one deposit. Nothing to install, nothing to approve, and no point at which 8Trade can move your funds without you sending them.

01

Pick a direction

Bridge in to move an asset onto Robinhood Chain, or bridge out to take one off it. You can also quote any other pair on the list.

02

Get a live quote

Type an amount and 8Trade fetches the rate, both network fees and the route minimum. Nothing is hidden behind a spread you cannot see.

03

Send one deposit

You get a fresh deposit address for this order only. Send the exact amount from any wallet or exchange. No connection, no signature, no approval.

04

Watch it land

The order page tracks confirming, exchanging and sending, then shows the payout hash when the funds reach the address you gave.

Questions

What the bridge does, what it costs and what happens when something goes wrong.

Robinhood Chain is the network ChangeNOW lists as hood. It holds ETH, the Global Dollar stablecoin USDG, tokenized equities such as SPY, NVDA and AAPL, and community tokens like PONS and CASHCAT. Assets living there cannot move to Bitcoin, Solana or Ethereum mainnet on their own, so a bridge is what connects them to the rest of the market.
Neither. 8Trade never asks you to sign in and never asks your wallet for a signature or an approval. Each order is a plain deposit address plus the payout address you type in, so you can send from a hardware wallet, a hot wallet or an exchange withdrawal.
Every route is executed through ChangeNOW, which aggregates liquidity across a large set of venues. 8Trade quotes, creates and tracks the order against their API and shows you the numbers they return, unchanged.
No. Orders run on the floating rate flow, so the payout is calculated from the market at the moment your deposit confirms. The quote you see is an estimate that is accurate for the current market, not a locked price, and a slow deposit on a busy network can land at a different number.
8Trade shows the route minimum before you create the order, so you can see it up front. If a deposit arrives below the minimum the exchange cannot complete, which is why the refund address field matters: set it and anything that cannot be routed goes back to you.
Most routes quote a ten to sixty minute window, and the estimate for your specific pair is shown with the quote. The bulk of that is deposit confirmations on the source chain, so a Bitcoin leg is slower than a Robinhood Chain leg.
Yes, the tokenized equities listed on Robinhood Chain can be quoted like any other asset. They tend to be thinner markets than ETH or USDG, so check the minimum and the estimate carefully before you send.
The quote panel breaks out the deposit fee and the withdrawal fee that the route charges. Those are the network and service costs on each leg, and they are shown in the currency they are charged in.
